Implementation of project outcomes is the result of any successful city or community engagement effort. Unfortunately, project implementation is often derailed because not enough attention was devoted to community buy-in and funding support early in the engagement process.
My goal on any project is to bring the city and community together, establish collaborative working relationships, and invite the community to join in the process to attract their involvement and funding support. The engagement process I developed includes crucial community support as a parallel strategy concurrent with the public engagement process.
